Irish Flower Crafts is now SIÓG

To ensure our brand truly reflects who we are and our vision to create sustainable Irish products from locally-sourced and natural ingredients, we have decided to rename our organisation to SIÓG.

Going back a little for those of you who don’t know us so well, we are childhood friends Lorna Frawley and Joanna Sammons.

Our love of nature and flowers began as children, when we shared Summer holidays with each other’s families on the West coast of Ireland. We searched for wildflowers like foxglove, forget-me-nots and cowslip, while also reveling in the beauty of our Grandmothers’ gardens of hydrangeas, roses and lilies in Galway and Donegal.

SIÓG (fairy) represents these magical days spent discovering the nature, myths and legends of the Irish landscape, and our continued appreciation of Ireland's wild habitats. In recent years, we’ve also developed a stark awareness of the impact of climate change and biodiversity loss. Sustainability is at the heart of what we strive for. While we cherish the past, we’re conscious of the future and we know that change is needed by all of us to protect and sustain our natural world for future generations. Our love of nature eventually inspired us to develop a range of sustainable home and gift products, which launched in 2020.

Since then, we have been busy continuously improving the quality and sustainability credentials of our range. On our website, you’ll find a range of products for your home that have been designed and made in Ireland from the finest quality and sustainable materials and ingredients.

Our range of candles is made from sustainable rapeseed wax - an eco-friendly and easily renewable plant grown widely throughout Europe. As well as being a sustainable alternative, rapeseed wax also offers extended burn time and scent throw.

Our flower presses offer everything you need for a wonderful day spent in nature - gathering, collecting and preserving flowers to hold dear for years to come. It also makes a very special and unique gift for nature-lovers.

Bring the outdoors in with our range of dried bouquets. Unlike fresh flower bouquets, we use no plastic, only paper packaging on our bouquets which will last for much longer too!

We are also in regular attendance at craft markets throughout County Kildare, please feel free to get in touch with us on Facebook, Instagram or email at hello@siogbotanicals.ie for a list of dates and locations.

To celebrate our new name, we are offering a discount of 5% on our website, valid until September 30th, 2021. Just enter voucher code SIÓG to avail!

If you have any questions, or would like to say hello please feel free to get in touch!
