Sustainability is at the heart of what we strive for. While we cherish the past, we’re conscious of the future and we know that change is needed by all of us to protect and sustain our natural world for future generations.
Materials used in SIÓG packaging are sustainably sourced and environmentally friendly. We minimise packaging to that which is absolutely necessary and ensure everything we use to package our products is 1) made from recycled materials as much as possible and 2) suitable to be recycled again.
- Dried Flowers: All flowers used in our dried bouquets and frames are hand-grown, picked and dried in our studio garden in County Kildare. Biodiversity is very important to us, and we plant to support pollinators all year round. We cherish our wildflowers as much as our hydrangeas.
- Candles: Our candles are made of pure rapeseed wax (a non-toxic, non-GM, renewable and easily grown plant) sourced from County Kerry and organic essential oils sourced from County Wicklow. We also offer a discount scheme on our tinned candles to encourage recycling. Upon receipt of used candle tins, we will send a discount code that can be used on future purchases - please email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
- Flower Presses: assembled by hand in our Kildare Studio from high quality birch plywood, our flower presses are beautifully gift-wrapped using sustainable materials.
