Flower pressing is a great way for both adults and children alike to identify and learn about botany and the natural world all around us. It also lets you keep your favorite flowers on display all year round by pressing them and creating a DIY botanical print. Giving a gift to someone meaningful? Add pressed flowers in the card to make it extra special!
This Luxury Birch Flower Press will stand the test of time, and is large enough to provide lots of space for pressing flowers!
Each Flower Press comprises of 6mm birch plywood which has been carefully cut to size and shape by a small Dublin company. We then take these back to our Kildare studio where we sand down the edges to ensure a smooth finish. All of our Flower Press hardware is brass which will age beautifully as the years go by. We hand assemble each press, and lovingly engrave with a beautiful wild Irish deer.
Each Flower Press also comes with everything you need to get started. We've included 8 sheets of A4 300gsm high quality blotting paper which we hand cut to size and 5 A4 corrugated card sheets. Enough to press a whole bouquet should you wish to!
