'Geimhreadh - Winter' Fine Art Giclee Print

Winter brings a quiet tranquillity to our gardens. Light layers of frost cover bare branches and evergreen foliage.  Many of our favourite flowering plants have powered down and are benefiting from some respite for the season. 

As gardeners, we long for the first signs of colour, like a beacon of what is to come.
In late Winter we see groupings of delicate snow drops swaying in the crisp winds; small mounds of primroses and violas in every colour of the rainbow emerge from pots and boarders. The purple shades of the heucheras, sheltered by some large fern fronds, are complimented by the shy downward blooms of the hellebore.

The Winter garden nurtures a modest beauty like no other season.
